The objective of these documents is to present an updated overview of available operational/safety enhancements for which your fleet might be eligible. These documents focus on selected design evolutions which are part of the “Safety Beyond Standard” Airbus initiative, which aims at further enhancing the safety of the fleet beyond requirements. The Safety Beyond Standard leaflet focuses especially on the 3 main threats: Loss of Control In-Flight (LOC-I), Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT) and Runway Excursion (RE).
